Questions people ask
Is it really ocean view?
Yes. The balcony, the living room, and two of the three bedrooms look over the pools straight out to the Sea of Cortez. The photos above are of this unit.
What's the minimum age and can we bring a pet?
The primary renter must be 25 or older and stay in the unit. No pets of any kind; it's a resort rule that applies to owners too. No smoking or vaping anywhere on the property.
How does check-in work?
Stop at the guard gate, then bring photo ID for every adult to the front desk. You get resort wristbands and the keypad code for the door. Check-in is 4 pm, check-out 11 am.
What's included in the price?
Nightly rate, cleaning, the resort fee, a damage waiver (instead of a security deposit), and Mexican lodging taxes. You see the full total before you pay.
Is Rocky Point safe to drive to?
Tens of thousands of Arizona families make the drive every year. Cross at Lukeville in daylight, carry Mexican auto insurance, stay on Highway 8, and it's a straightforward four hours. If the U.S. State Department changes the Sonora advisory or the border closes after you book, you can move your dates or take a full credit.
Can we pay in installments?
Bookings more than 30 days out pay 50% now and the balance automatically 30 days before arrival, on the same card.

Cancellation
Full refund 30+ days before check-in; 50% at 14–29 days; no refund inside 14 days. If the Lukeville border closes or the U.S. travel advisory for Sonora is raised after booking, move your dates or take a full credit toward a stay within 12 months.
House rules
Max 8 guests. Primary renter 25+. No pets, no smoking, no parties. Quiet hours 10 pm–8 am. Resort wristbands required. Check-in 4 pm, check-out 11 am.
Privacy
We collect only what we need to take and manage your reservation and register your party with the resort. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your card number. Email hello@staysaltandpine.com to see or delete what we hold.
